Credit Hour” means one lecture hour and / or one session (two to three hours of practical work per
week) for sixteen weeks.
Credit Hours will be offered according to the scheme of studies: Maximum 18 credit hours per semester
and Minimum 12 credit hours per semester are prescribed, for the BS Programmes.
No course shall carry more than 4 credit hours.
For the purpose of evaluation, one credit hour will carry 20 marks e.g., a four credit hours will carry
80 marks. These marks will be divided in accordance with the credits assigned to theory and practical
(where applicable) for each course.
